Tapas Bar Sabor Flamenco - Kassel

The food is excellent though a little slow in arriving. There was one woman who done the cooking and a waitress. It's the first time I've been to Kassel and when I return around Christmas I shall definitely be eating there again

It may have been a nice place for a tapas dinnerbut we were there at the wrong place and wrong time, we suppose.The terrace was completely occupied, so we found a placeinside. The bar tender was emptying a glass of red wine (!)behind his counterand invited us to sit anywhere ...After quite a while he asked for our wishes and we ordered white wine and sparkling water. plus two dishes. We had the wine after another while, which turned out one glass lukewarm and one cold .No water ...and after one ( ! ) hour we decided to leave the restaurant and paidfor the wine only ... another couple had the same experience and left the money on the table ...

This tapas bar was located right next to our hotel in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe. For tapas, I'm always to have. I made it clear to my companion that I wanted to eat here in the evening. Said, done. We took place in the beautiful weather in the beer garden. Some tables were already occupied; for us there was another seat. After some time we got the cards. There were different tapas at reasonable prices. We ordered a Plato Mixto that we shared. Add a portion of bread with aioli, finally meatballs with potatoes. After a reasonable waiting period, the food was served. We were amazed at what was all done. The meatballs with potato and salad would be sufficient as a food portion. On the mixed plate there were sausages, ham and cheese. This plate can safely divide two people. We also received bread and olives in sufficient quantities. Pils and wheat beer from the barrel, some bottled beers and of course a few wines were offered as drinks. Some spirits. We ordered wheat beer. Actually, we wanted to order a second round of drinks, a baggage and a Crema Catalana. Actually. Only the service seemed to be alone, it could not be seen forever. When she finally came, we had enough of the long waiting and paid. We ordered the other drinks at the hotel bar. I can't say much about the ambience that we were sitting outside. From the outside, the restaurant was comfortably furnished. The service was friendly. Only did she barely manage the guests and take care of the drinks (possibly also the food?). Another helping hand would certainly not be bad. Overall, it was neat. Do I come again? Only if at least two employees were on site. It just took us too long.

It's just Mega. Very delicious tapas, made by the boss personally and with a lot of love. The house wine is sensational and personally recommended only. It's always worth a visit. Even if I have to buy 200 km.
