This is wonderful hotel located in Kashipur in Uttrakhand state. It is situated at Ramnagar road, so one can go to Ramnagar in a short time from this place. In addition, Jim Corbett national park is nearby. Different types of functions are organised in this hotel such as marriage, reception, birthday and corporate events. Moreover, this hotel is equipped with all the latest and required amenities. Its rooms are of big size and comfortable. Furthermore, their food is very delicious. One can order food in his room or can eat in a common food lounge. The staff is highly trained and polite.
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. Wish we weren’t just passing through!
Nestled at a distance from Kashipur, along the Ramnagar Road, stands a grandiose hotel, the exterior of which exudes a certain aura of magnificence, akin to an individual's tendency to form an opinion about a book based on its cover. Despite the steep prices charged for the rooms, the location and amenities offered fail to justify such costs. Upon checking in, the process was conducted without any hitches and a room on the second floor was assigned to me. Regrettably, the experience proved to be a lamentable one as the room emitted a foul odor, reminiscent of something putrid. The caretaker was summoned to remedy the situation, requiring a considerable duration of ten minutes to repair the malfunctioning air-conditioner. Alas, my misfortune persisted, as the television refused to function, leaving me in a state of disappointment. However, the bathroom was commendably sanitized, though the cupboards were noticeably neglected. Despite notifying the reception regarding the repugnant stench, the only solution proposed was to utilize a fragrance sprayer, which ultimately proved ineffective. The root cause of the odor remains a mystery to this day. Complimentary breakfast was offered, showcasing an array of appetizing vegetarian options, such as poori, sabzi, fruit salad, aloo paratha, milk, tea, and breads with a toaster that tended to burn them. The food quality was superior, accompanied by swift and efficient service. The dining hall itself was also an admirable sight to behold.
We would rate this hotel as one of the worst experiences in a hotel stay, lets put it in perspective 1) First impression was pathetic, we had to literally beg for someone to carry luggage. 2) Its not cheap considering one pays over INR 3000/ 3) First room, the bathroom was flooded. So room changed 4) Second room, the A/C was not working, they struggled for 10 minutes, so room changed 5) Third room the we are too tired to even bother with anything 6) WORST part, its 10 PM and there is no hot water, reception advices keep water running for 10 minutes, one should get hot water……. Well NO HOT Water 7) No hot water in the morning. 8) At the time of checking out, the front desk was not bothered, we had to carry our own luggage. 9) Most importantly, seems the hotel has enough business or does not care, the GM did not even have the courtesy to personally handle the issues of our rooms, and had an air of super arrogance. 10) What is appalling is that here, the world is saving water, and for a hot water bath, hundreds of litres of water is wasted just to ensure that Hot water comes to the room, imagine the total wastage cumulative of all the rooms per day, per week, per month and yearly
