Ratskeller - Karlstadt

Yesterday I was strolling together with my wife in Karlstadt and returned to dinner with her in the Ratskeller outdoor area. The female service was very attentive and, despite very good clientele, mastered her job easily. We were also quickly supplied with the map. We received sufficient time to study the food offer. We opted for a HELENA plate for 2 persons at 30 € and ordered a soft wheat beer 0.5 l to 3,50 € and a currant juice choir 0.4 l to 3,20 € on beverages. Due to the bumping operation at lunchtime and the fact that the kitchen freshly prepared the dishes, we had to wait a little for the dishes. The plates first came on a heat plate. The plate itself was very lush filled with various meats and Calamari preparations, Tzaziki, and garlic potatoes. The supplemental salads which have been compiled in a variety of ways were placed separately in peels. The ouzo was donated as a digestive schnapps after consumption. Opticly everything was quite attractive and tastefully there were no big objections. Only the consistency of the chop steaks was somewhat too dry. During the walk to the very well-maintained toilets we could then also look at the main guest room, which reminds us of a knight's room. On the walls, table groups are assigned to previous designs, i.e. carpenters, winemakers, merchants ... . The tress is quite favorable near the entrance, so that the service forces have relatively short running paths both in the guest room and in the outside area. Seit jahren geniesen wir diese lokalität. der empfang ist freundlich und persöhnlichdie speisen die wir genossen haben Speisekarte 1. bis 15,, waren mit liebeund viel geschmack zu bereitet.Für manche deutsche lokalität wäre dieses zu empfehlen

The Greek food served there, is some of the best I have eaten, outside of Greece. The staff is very friendly and the owners are a hands-on couple...always helping to serve and welcoming you in. The place is old, with a modern touch and just beautiful. I had the Souflaki (Souvlaki) and it was very very good. Others ordered some German fare, which they also enjoyed. At the end, the host came by and served each one of us an Ouzo, free of charge. Not sure why that was done, but noticed that the other patrons also received that same drink at the end of their meal.

Man kann hier auch kurzfristig Plätze bekommen, da dass Restaurant sehr groß ist.Trotzdem ist es nicht zu vollgestellt und man kann auch private Gespräche führen, ohne dass die Sitznachbarn gleich die ganze Lebensgeschichte mitbekommen.Das Essen ist sehr gut - nur leider wirklich sehr, sehr fettig... aber die Tzatziki schmeckt hier so gut wie nirgends!!!

Essen ist lecker und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Bietet keine besonderen griechischen Spezialität, also typisches Essen zum fairen Preis.
