Pinchos - Karlstad

We had a great time at Pinchos in Karlstad! Even though we were unfamiliar with how the restaurant operated (we were just visiting on vacation), we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious! The staff who served us were extremely friendly and kind, and we loved the conversations we had with them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Karlstad. I have visited Pinchos several times in different cities and I have found that I enjoy my visits the most when dining alone. At Pinchos, you order your food and drinks through an app on your phone or tablet, and then pick them up yourself from the kitchen counter and bar when they are ready. This system works well for solo diners, but it can feel like someone is always missing from the table when dining with friends. However, the food at Pinchos is excellent, with a wide variety of delicious small dishes to choose from at very reasonable prices.

I used the app to carefully select items from the menu. The tapas were delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Sebastian provided excellent service and took great care of us.

Cold, impersonal and the whole venue felt cheap with plastic chairs, plastic flowers and some kind of trinket lighting. The food was super good but ordering via app feels much more McD than I wanted.
