I got to volunteer at this beautiful restaurant for one week and it was a wonderful experience! i helped with preparing the food and one day there was even a wedding. they offer lots of vegan options and even the toilets are sustainable. the garden is nice to eat outside and there are b&b rooms to stay too. inside it’s very cozy and lovely!!! oh and you should definitely try the home baked sour dough bread it’s the best bread ever Updated from previous review on 2023-06-07
We discovered Mormors while camping nearby in Långasjönäs. We popped in to take a look the building and grounds are beautiful and got talking to the lovely Anna, who talked us through the lunch buffet. There were a mix of vegetarian and vegan dishes in the buffet, which change daily. Anna asked us to let her know when we were going to come for food, and she would make sure that there were plenty of vegan options for us. So, we went the next day wow! The food was delicious, and we ate LOADS (one of the dishes, a tomato lentil stew with garlic and red wine was one of the most delicious things I've eaten! . And the prices are great, too I doubt you could find a better value place to eat for such great quality. Going to Mormors was one of the highlights of our visit to Sweden from Scotland this year it'll be our first stop when we return! Updated from previous review on 2022 07 17
Gulligt, prisvärt, god vegansk lunch och fantastisk vegansk banan- och chokladtårta!
A very down to earth and artistic feeling place. Had the buffet which was flavorful and had plenty of options for me as a vegan. Especially loved the burger, the tomato stew and the sauces. Also a super good price for such well-made food.
