Wailua Shave Ice Kauai - Kapa‘a

This restaurant serves the best shave ice on the island, no doubt about it. You really have to give it a try!

We really enjoyed the shaved ice at this restaurant. They offer coconut cream as a vegan option and are able to make substitutions. The staff is knowledgeable about these options. We tried the Ube and pineapple shaved ice, with the Ube being a standout favorite. The use of real fruit in the flavors made a big difference, as they didn't taste artificial. Our non-vegan friends in our group tried the lilikoi flavor and also loved it.

My experience at the restaurant was great! We tried the Lava Flow and it was delicious. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

My first shave ice so nothing to compare it to, but got lava flow and it was delicious!

This place is soooo good! They have increased their vegan options since we were last in Kauai. Today I got the Almond Joy and loved it. (When I inquired, I was told the chocolate sauce is processed in a facility that processes dairy, but is otherwise vegan. My daughter got the Lava Flow , which is one of our favorites. Hoping to go back several times before we have to head back to the mainland.. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-03
