Incredible dining experience! I ordered the chicken makhani and my partner ordered the chicken tandoori, both dishes were spot on. The service was exceptional and we felt welcomed into their culture.

We tried the chicken masala and it was one of the best I've had! If you love tikka masala like I do, this restaurant is the perfect spot for you!

Thank you for discovering this gem on the island. As a vegetarian, options are limited here, but Shivalik offers delicious Indian cuisine that will make your fingers lick. The first bite made it clear that the chef is skilled and experienced. The staff was welcoming, and I highly recommend stopping by at least once while on the island.

One of the best food on the island and probably one of the most beautiful wiper makhani and wiper tikka masala in usa. the owners are really friendly. pooja was a smiling face. Praveen has so gratefully accommodated us last minute before our flight. our last 5 meals were at this place because it is so delicious. rana, you are the sweetest host. all here are very friendly. must try the wipers!

The lunch buffet had mostly vegan food: yellow dal, channa masala (chickpeas in tomato sauce), a vegetable dish, and a cabbage/green pepper dish. All were quite flavorful, especially the yellow dal. None of these dishes had heat, but all had good flavor balance. The rice was just white rice--nothing special. They started to serve us naan bread, but when we asked if it had butter, they said it did, and then gave us naan w/o butter. There was only one staff member, and he was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about what was vegan and what was not. Why only 3 stars? Most Indian buffets are more generous in their offerings. Unlike most other Indian buffets we've been to, there was no cold food selection with salads or cold bean dishes, no fresh fruit, no pappadam and no dosa's. Just a few chutneys. If they had been more generous in their spread, I would have given this place 4 stars w/o hesitation.
