El ray del mar. The best tacos in Kapaa. Most consistently well done and when they are there and open to the business my whole family could not be happier! The people who work this truck are big on the phone and great in person. If a visitor or islander is looking for a great taco, this is the place. Thank you for the great food you offer! Best quesadilla I had on this island. not greasy, big part and garnel a lot.

Absolutely amazing! grilled fish tacos were the best I ever had. carnitas tacos were also excellent. the beans get special mention so often at taquerias, they are quite common as they came out of the dose. but they were all bored, quasi ranch (if this is something? and just fantastic. we love kauai (our first time here) and try a lot for the first time. our first time in el rey del mar was wonderful. we're still here a week and we're coming back.

We stopped by here on a whim on the way to the beach and grabbed the carnitas tacos. They got some great tacos. The seating area is pretty nice with a view of the ocean just over Jimmy's.

Best meal of our trip and we hit some actual 5 star restaurants. Don't let the beachy food truck scare you off! Fish tacos here are so fresh, hot, and flavorful! Salsas/sauces were amazing!
