My brother and I visited this establishment this evening. We are from out of town, and were looking for a good local place. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and especially the service. Our waitress was great! Unfortunately I don't know her name, but she was so personable and friendly that she really made us feel welcome. I live a couple blocks away. Asked around but the people I've talked to say you may be treated like you're not good enough to be there. For that, I don't come in. We are all made the same. Sorry

Homemade Buns!!!! Great food, service and atmosphere!

Five stars? You bet your boots bud. Located on a mostly deserted, architecturally beautiful old downtown street is a place you don't find too often here in the Midwest or anywhere for that matter. Friendly staff, killer food at super reasonable prices. How about a 14 oz ribeye, baked potato, corn, house salad and in-house made roll that is to die for, all for $26.75 (market price). Will never eat there again. The young lady behind bar told the day's special. She said 7” and salad, Sounded good to my husband. I am gluten free so I had little to choose from. I ordered the 8 oz. Steak salad on mixed bed of greens. My husband ordered special, waitress asked “barbecue, hot, or honey mustard”? Hum odd chose for 7 ” pizza but my husband just rolled with it and said hot.
