The Fix - Kansas City

The fix was an excellent vegan stop during my day trip to KC! It was in a really cool historical building that used to be an old pharmacy. The music is great and the food is even better! A great atmosphere with cute decorations and large windows give you natural light and a look at the activity outside. The food was excellent. I have the TLT (tofu, salad and tomato sandwich) and it was delicious! It had vegan thousand island dressing, the first I had, since go vegan 5 years ago! The pommes were soft, but you get a lot of them and reminds me of potatoes you would get with a breakfast Burrito. My non vegan friend was very impressed by her vegan chicken breeders. She said they were in their top 5 best chicken pliers list. These are served with the same frits as the TLT. The only thing I did not love was the price, a bit high, considering that you have to order at the counter and then pick up / your food and you are still asked if you want tips. Overall we liked the fix!! Definitely a great option for road trippers and locals too.

Portobello burger was delicious. easy pricy with a order of fries. but no bauchschmerz is unpaid! recommend!

Good food with gluten-free options. We both have the double cheeseburger, but my husband got his without cheese as seen on the picture. We would come back here to try everything else!

This food was phenomenal and so was the staff. Thanks again. We'll be back.

One of the best vegan spots in Kansas City. Employees there could be a little more friendlier though. #Veganuary
