Taps On Main - Kansas City

The atmosphere was great. I like the idea of PYOB and as long as it isn't wildly busy, works fine. Great selection on taps.The food was what you would expect from bar food; not horrible, not life-changing. Our biggest issue and main reason for 3 stars was the service. Shelby was our server and clearly didn't want to be there. Service can completely change your experience and based on what we had, we probably won't be back.

Really cool concept with “serve yourself” style taps. Nachos were on point. Despite being really busy (due to playoff football), the servers did their best to make sure all the customers were taken care of. A definite must if you visit KC.

Loved my experience here! Got a beer card and was able to sample what ever beers I wanted too and the selection is wide! Close to 40 beers or more to try from on tap . Must try the MaHazy and Blood Orange IPA those were absolutely delicious. The service was great! Will be back when in the area

This is a great place for beer. I'm a big sour fan and their selection of sours is limited, but there's always a couple. The atmosphere during the day (before 5p) is comfortable and chill. The evening crowd is a little different, and I would recommend that you try it during the day before you try it in the evening. You will like it better. Pay close attention to the ABV on the beers because they like to put beers out that are 6% or higher. I don't mind those some of the time, but if I'm going to drink more beer I prefer to be 5% or less. This place is well worth your time and a must stop beer place in Kansas City.

This place has outside seating and a wide variety of items on the menu. The waitress was very nice and we enjoyed our lunch. It wasn't too crowded and the atmosphere was pleasant. There was free parking across the street because it was Sunday. Please restock all of your top shelf whiskey (12 year, 15 year etc), that we apparently polished off. Thanks! We'll be back.
