Tapatio Mexican Grill - Kansas City

It really depends on which server you have. The thin one who has experience working in taquerias is excellent. On the other hand, the shorter, heavier one tends to rush you through your meal and hopes for a quick tip. The food is fantastic, though, and I now make sure to request my favorite server whenever I go.

The only staff member who treats customers poorly is the owner, which is surprising, right? The rest of the team is fantastic—very friendly, and the cooks prepare amazing food. It's unfortunate that the owner could use some improvement, but it’s still definitely worth a visit.

This is an excellent spot for genuine Mexican food. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks are fantastic!
