Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe - Kansas City

I absolutely love the place. The food was cooked to perfection. Yes, I know it's a sandwich, but the Italian beef was on point, and I'm from Chicago, where Italian beefs are a thing! I splurged a little and got the broccoli soup OMG goodness!! The staff was prompt very friendly. The establishment is very clean and well laid out.

The sandwiches are great, the staff is quick to keep the line moving, and it's a solid place for a quick business lunch when you’re downtown.All of the staff members were moving quickly, even the delivery people who were constantly coming and going.I've heard from coworkers that the pizza is okay, but nothing great.This place is definitely worth a stop for lunch, especially when you're in a hurry.

I ordered an italian sausage pizza for $11.99. It looked pretty good but the taste was very subpar. It was very bland and tasted as if it had been sitting for awhile it didn’t seem to be freshly made. There was so little pizza sauce I couldn’t really taste it and thus, the pizza was dry. They had some kind of Italian seasonings sprinkled on top and it overwhelmed the taste of the pizza. I was extremely disappointed and could barely finish it. I don’t know about the rest of their food, but I DO NOT recommend going there for pizza.

Food was amazing! Trelshawne our server was awesome, will definitely be back.
