In any case, a must go when it is in kansas city. the seafood is like mama that was made earlier. the service is excellent on kb and ella seen in the picture. large black owned and operated business that will not disappoint them. that is the restaurant where you can hear the classical music of whispers, ojays, regina bell and much more.
The atmosphere at King's Table Soul Food is friendly and welcoming. The staff is great and despite wearing masks, they have a continuous smile on their faces. The food is flavorful and reminiscent of home-cooked meals, like my grandmother used to make. My partner and I had a delicious meal of halsbone, yams, mac n cheese, greens, fried pork, black-eyed peas, and kohl. It was all perfect. We enjoyed our meal so much that we came back the next day before leaving for St. Louis. For breakfast, my partner had bacon/sausage, eggs, and potatoes, while I had shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. I even took some leftovers home to share with my mom. King's Table Soul Food is a must-visit in Kansas City. We can't wait to return and try their fried ribs next. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Don't hesitate to give them a try - you won't be disappointed. (Note: Photos are from our breakfast, but we couldn't resist starting to eat before taking pictures)
I had the best meal of my long weekend in Kansas City. The fried chicken was amazing and the sides were great. The cornbread was also top notch. The service was excellent as well.
Excellent! Best fried chicken, Mac and cheese and cornbread I’ve ever had! Period! I thoroughly enjoyed every single piece on my plate. Excellent customer service and super fast service. I’ll definitely be back!
