Gigi's Vegan Wellness Cafe

My friend and I visited Gigi’s a few weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about what an amazing experience it was. The cafe itself is cozy and inviting, and Gigi and her staff are absolutely lovely. From the minute we walked through the door, it was obvious that this entire place is infused with love and a deep commitment to animals and the larger community.Not only is the atmosphere delightful, but this is a culinary gem. There are almost no words for how delicious the food is…it was so rich and flavorful, it almost made me cry. Whatever preconceived notions you may have about raw vegan food, I can promise, they do NOT apply here. We ordered two entrees to share and they were both refreshingly creative and so satisfying.My only concern is that I live in Colorado and cant return anytime soon. So y’all need to enjoy this cafe in my honor.Gigi is a visionary, a culinary genius, a wellness guru, and a community advocate. Her cafe is a passion project worth supporting. I promise your taste buds will thank you.

Gigi and staff were super nice and wanted to have conversation. They explained everything very well. I love supporting a Black-owned business started by a woman. The smoothie was amazing. While the salad was tasty, I just needed some protein. I’d go back for more the next time I’m in the area.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.

Gigi’s cuisine was absolutely amazing, and Gigi herself was a wonderfully welcoming hostess! I would give Gigi’s an 11-star rating for any vegan or plant-based eater! It's definitely a must-visit when you're in Kansas City!

Such a great welcoming place. The food was fantastic. Was also somewhat of an educational event. I am not a vegan but could eat here every day. Had some tacos, lintel soup and some fresh squeezed juice. Will be back soon. Now I have a place to bring my vegan friends when they

Was there today. The staff appeared disorganized and the atmosphere was a bit lackluster. They were out of almost every shot we requested, and even the lemon cayenne shot required a lime substitution in order to be provided.At first the guy told us he was also out of the kale wraps and then interuppted our conversation to inform us that they did indeed have them.Many beverages appeared to only have 2 cans...in the end wedecided only on the cold pressed juice, which wasn't even labeled, or even pressed that day.
