Equal Minded Cafe - Kansas City

The atmosphere is wonderful and the owner is very pleasant!

I recently discovered that Troost is the go-to spot for fantastic coffee shops in Kansas City. During my first visit, I was impressed by the energetic atmosphere. I enjoyed asking for recommendations and the Barista whipped up a tasty mocha with almond milk. The drink was served with a freshly baked muffin that was just the right amount of sweetness. The café is very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return on my next trip back home!

Equal Minded Café is a must-visit spot that is worth your time, attention, and money. The owner's friendly banter and the industrial ambiance create a welcoming atmosphere. The food is some of the best café fare I've had in a long time, comparable to higher-end cafes. The cafe is located in a neighborhood that needs more options for healthy and delicious food. The owner is welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations on the menu. The menu features a variety of options including paninis, smoothies, and teas. I ordered the San Francisco Melt sandwich and an iced lavender coffee, both of which were excellent. The sandwich was made with roast beef, cheddar, and swiss on sourdough with a delicious house-made garlic aioli. The coffee was the perfect complement to the meal. The café also offers event space for the local community at an affordable rate, with great views of the area. I will definitely be returning to Equal Minded Café and highly recommend it to others.

Amazing food and comfy atmosphere! I got the veggie wrap and was like hell yeah at the first bite. My partner got the San Francisco melt and said it was heavenly. A little bit of a wait but they seemed to be training someone and honestly, the food was worth the wait. Excellent smoothies. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and got a lavender latte, and it might just be my new favorite thing.

I absolutely love this adorable cafe! It's incredibly spacious with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and the drinks are top-notch, the best I've ever had at a cafe in Kansas City! My personal favorite was the ice cream frappe. I'll definitely be making a stop here every time I'm in town!
