Collection - Kansas City

Tia should quickly close or distance herself from this restaurant. The dishes were below average and disappointing. The only redeeming factor was the drinks at Belfry. I recommend having drinks there before going to a Sprint Center event, but I suggest avoiding the food. It's better to spend your money at a restaurant that knows how to make a decent salad. I will make sure to recommend other places to my friends instead of Collection. You can get a nice pre-event appetizer tray and cocktails at Pierpont's for a lower price.

What was formerly the Kansas City Cafe is now Collection. Chef Tio has assembled a menu featuring comfort food with the perfect updates for foodies!

We had a reservation for two at 8:30pm on a Friday night. We arrived a bit early and found the restaurant empty. Although the door was open and candles were lit on the tables, there were no customers, no hostess, and it seemed like there was no staff present. We decided to leave politely. There was one person by the bar on the phone, but it was uncertain if they were an employee at the restaurant.

The menu may have been limited in size, but it certainly packed a punch! There was something to suit every taste bud, thanks to the wide variety of choices available. The chef delivered our meals with a smile and the waiter provided us with helpful recommendations. Our night was truly fantastic, especially with the incredible selection of cocktails to enjoy!

The polenta dish at Collection was so insanely good that I kept waiting for the men in white coats to come take it away. Insane, I tell you!
