Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Kannapolis

We stopped in late one night. They were cleaning up but still prepared our order in a quick manner. They were polite and friendly. I'll go back when it's earlier in the day to see if the atmosphere is the same

Usually I have a good experience with this Popeyes but this time it definitely wasn't the greatest. I waited around 10 minutes inside for them to even take my order, and I paid for a chicken tender platter with fries and mac and cheese. Came home and realized I didn't have any fries, and also didn't have any ranch that I paid 25 cents for. Pretty annoyed.. there was only 4 workers inside, I would understand because of staff issues but they all seemed to be goofing off instead of paying attention to my order. Disappointing :

I was preparing to order from the mobile app and explained to drive thru- women assisting alerted that she was not familiar with how to accommodate me and how mobile ordering worked. It was just a code I needed to provide to her verbally to get discounts. Instead women requested i come Inside for ordering. Once inside I overheard several negative conversations between the staff being less respectful of each other. They were demeaning, unprofessional and directly in front of several customers. While I did receive my order the wait was very lengthy but most of all I was offset by the team culture and the lack of respect that teammates had for one another. Probably won't return for that reason. As a manager of culture that was disappointing and saddening to see. Leadership was not on location and per staff is always late for their shift?

I did a review when it first open it was terrific but now. OMG I would not recommend it. I?ve gone a few times since it opened and today was the worst. I ordered there special 5 pieces of chicken and drink. The guy couldn?t tell me what would be in it. And he couldn?t even remember what I ordered at the drive thru. So when I got to the window he took my card and asked again what I ordered. Then he handed me food and card. So I was still sitting waiting for my drink and receipt. After I got home I looked at chicken there was only 4 pieces so they shorted me one piece and what I got wasn?t worth eating. All 4 pieces wouldn?t make one breast from KFC or Bojangles. I will never go back there.

OK where do I start. The chicken was hot but tasted like the grease has not been changed in a while. The fries were somewhat warm. The biscuit tasted like something that just came out of the freezer. What I?m trying to say is for 10.75$ for a three piece. Tender basket was very, very disappointing. I mean prices have more than doubled on food so I would expect consistent quality. Especially with a business that relies heavily on the fryer. Don?t go by time go by taste, because this clearly is passed its prime.
