Lee's Sandwich Shop - Kannapolis

Lee has been a favorite of ours for years, but our recent visit was disappointing. It seems things have changed. The portion sizes are smaller, the prices have increased, and the service has declined significantly. Once our order was delivered, we never saw our server again. They just placed our food on the table without a word. Unfortunately, we have to say that we won't be returning.

You just have to go there. They're serious with every meal they do. Had French toast.. from this world.. perfect bacon... as good as I came back for lunch and I had the best double cheeseburger in many years. He was from a 50-year-old who eaten there since he was a little boy... a fantastic family place...

This is the best hometown local Restaurant in Kannapolis. I have lived in this area all my life and they have never failed to please. From the best hotdogs in town, to the, not just good, but very delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chic, is a very nice man as is the entire staff. Please give the a try if you are looking for your new favorite home away from feel, place to eat.... ???

Saturday Morning Breakfast Excellent Southern Breakfast; Eggs Well, Sausage, Bacon, Grits, Pepper Gravy, White Toast. Cooked just like grandma use to cook it. The cook is superb, and the environment is very friendly. The Waitresses know their job, and keep your glass full, and take the personal interest in keeping you satisfied without asking for anything. They are always ready to get you anything needed to ensure a joyful experience eating food prepared in front of you.

The best burgers and hot dogs I've ever had! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. It's a hometown favorite!
