Absolutely loved this experience from the amazing view as you first walk in to the friendly service to the devine degustation menu. $85 a head for an 8 course degustation with premium ingredients was great value when it would be double that price in Sydney or Melbourne. If you are a foodie don’t miss Sunset Food and Wine. Oh and the beef carpaccio was to die for! Thanks to the team at Sunset for giving us another great Kangaroo Island experience.

This is the place you can’t miss when you visit KI! View and food are amazing, they use alot of local kangaroo island products.Definitely worth the money if you want to do something special or celebrate.

Set menu for dinner on 6 Apr was spectacular. Love a menu that showcases the local fare, and this menu did that brilliantly. Stand outs for me were the Trevally Ceviche with Jalapeño and Mango bursting with flavour and such a great start to the evening. Accompanied with a glass of the Soave which went perfectly. Then the Prawn Taco with Kohlrabi and Shiso leaf yum, yum, yum. And so fun to eat. Final stand out had to be the Southern Rock Lobster Tortellini with bisque, and accompanying bread (to soak up any extra bisque, because there's no way there was going to be any of that left over). My partner LOVED the coffee set custard and chocolate sorbet dessert. Overall, unreal. Beautiful view of the sunset, attentive service and timely service of dishes and my drinks were always topped up. Would come back again!
