Eating has never disappointed and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. had the deep fried squid and ikan bakar the last time I was here what was excellent.. it is quite expensive. the staff is always friendly and it has a family-friendly atmosphere.
Ordnet Nasi Kerabu and Roti Arab, both are very fingers licking well. The environment is also good. 10/10 recommended would come back.
The smaller stalls open-up as the evening closes in. It’s one of the premises along Bintong Food Avenue. Try the curry mee
This was our next stop after the aborted Timah Tasoh Lake Resort. As in most Malay Food Outlets or Restaurants tradional Malay Dishes were the main menu as 'Self Service ' concept was practised. As the restaurant name suggest a variety of 'Ikan Bakar ' were available to satisfy the customers 's tastes. Incidently Ikan Bakar Siakap (which created contrversy in Langkawi as viralled in the Social, Electronic Mass Media) was one of the dish to choose from. Ironically as in Langakawi it was priced 1400 too...(but not RM$.. just 1400cents...I 'm just jokingly wanted to create a Surprise factor). This place was well patronised by local Office Staffs n Workers as well as visitors like us. Surprisingly the prices charged after queuing at the Cash counter was really cheaper as compared to those in Klang Valley and major Towns in Peninsular Malaysia (from my past experiences). After this lunch session we were taken to the 'Masjid Terapong ' Kuala Perlis which was not far the Kuala Perlis Passenger Roro Jetties to Langkawi Island.
I order nasi kerabu and it is delicious. They also serve roti canai during morning.
