The event coordinator Relda Enos was very unprofessional! She was extremely rude and had an unpleasant attitude to work with. The customer service we received from her and her staff was horrible. When arriving to the venue, the place was extremely unsanitary. My family and I had to clean up before our event started, which was unnecessary, considering I had paid a cleaning fee to have avoid this issue. The bar choices were extremely selective, when our guests would try to order their drinks, the bartender would say they ran out of this and that, when the event had just started. Knowing you're going to host an event and the guest are going to order alcoholic beverages, wouldn't you stock up on your selections? Not to mention this was a private event, but Relda still allowed outsiders in, to order from the bar. Overall, this was such a HORRIBLE experience and sadly not a joyful and memorable event that I would reminisce about. The amount of money that we spent and the little effort that Relda and her team put into our event was not worth it. Would definitely look into another venue, if I had to host a party again.
Needs allot of work although staff is great and music on entertainment is a big plus.
The good: casual, down to earth, and the night we went Heineken promotion with free beers, also attracts a young crowd who otherwise might not have a place to go on Friday nights. All ages were welcome the bad: paid cover charge for a band at 7:20 pm, left at 10:20 and no band had started (they had set up , I dont know what time they start) this could be normal for the young people who hadnt really showed up till 9:00. Food was very basic bar food , from frozen and that is ok but waited 45 minutes for french fries, the waitress did apologize on the second time we asked and said kitchen was backed up , but we had ordered before it got crowded. all in all reminds you of high school graduation party and in the right mood would be fun most people drink cans of beer , any liquor including shots served in the little plastic cups , you use at beach parties cafeteria tables and folding chairs, probably a good place to watch sports on TV, or come in for a beer after golfing, the promoter for the music venue probably knows audience , this night they missed , by waiting too long to start , but most tables were ok just chilling, I did notice a few other tables asking when band started my low score is due to missing the band and too slow on food, and they arent exactly generous on pours for drinks, if they had told us the band was at 10:30 or 11 would have been ok
They dont have a phone so dont bother to call. There is live music on Thirsdays. Fridays its 80's music. And sometimes, there are events like Comedy nights but that is promoted by a separate agency. Karaoke nightly and it starts after the live event if there is any. The bar is minimal, based on what sells to the local crowd so dont expect a whiskey bar, blended drinks, or $20 cocktails (thats Kailua, ha! . This is an event space with the local bar on the side. Its clean, airy, and a great place to just hang out. We came on a Thursday to listen to Hoku Zuttermeister, Hawaiian music. You just gotta stip by and talk to the bar on any future events Its all word of mouth.
