Barrel House - Kane

Stopped in because of the reviews, but ended up really disappointed. The food and the prices were fine, not great. But the service was awful. My server never came to my table after bringing my food, even though I intended to order more. I had to flag her down to close out. She dropped the bill then never came back. I luckily had enough cash so I was able to leave the cash and walk out. I won't be coming back again.

Beautiful bar. The food is great and plenty to choose from. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of surrounding areas.

So the reason for the one star is because of this place seating way too many people for what its small kitchen is able to practically serve. So yesterday I arrived there at about 6pm and it took about two hours for me to get my food. I understand a busy place is going to have a wait time, but in the case of this restaurant the main reason why it took so long for people to get their food is basically because the kitchen itself is too small for the amount of tables they have. The food here definitely isn't worth waiting two hours for and if you see a decent amount of vehicles which are outside the building, then your best option is to just keep on driving because you're going to be staring at a table for a very long time until your food is ready.

9/7/22 Arrived about 7:30 pm. The parking lot was packed ! So I was anticipating a wait. Waitress/Bartender was very friendly and got our drinks quickly and took our food order. Our food was delivered before we knew it! My Chicken, wild rice and vegetables were all amazing and delicious! My husbands steak was exactly how he likes it. And my brother in law also said his seafood was very good. Definitely Recommend !!

Came here for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Had the ham and cheese pretzel melt with wings. Prices where fair and the portion of blue cheese when ordered for the wings were large. The fries that came with the sandwich were also a large portion homemade and excellently crisp reminding me of five guys fries. The pretzel bun was also very good if you want to consider upgrading.
