Sri Krishna Dosai - Kandy

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and prepared in a hygienic manner. The customer service was excellent.

This is a completely unassuming place. From the outside you think it’s going to be a flop but the food is to die for. We both had Ghee dosa was absolutely phenomenal. So filling. We were really looked after the waiter took his time to explain everything to us! We like the look of the savoury donuts (Ulundu vadai) pictured on the menu and ordered them too omg. Get these! Definitely recommend this place! We each had milkshakes which were lovely also.

We were a bit worried about going here after the last two reviews and to admit it… we didn’t go to the toilet. so cannot comment on the conditions but We had a fantastic meal here…. And we’re not I’ll afterwards. Staff were friendly, the menu was clear and reasonably priced, we had a silver tray with lots of little things in each hole… each was delicious, an onion dosa, chickpea curry, mushy spiced potatoes, a coconut relish, a daal vada which was crunchy and a sweet saffron Laddu. Service was efficient and we even got a slice of birthday cake from the owners wife.

The cleanliness of a restaurant can be judged by the condition of its bathroom, and based on that, I should have known what to expect from the food. The toilet was the worst I've encountered in all my travels throughout Asia. While the food was tasty, I would not choose to dine there again.
