However, I wasn't as impressed with the food and drink as I was the atmosphere. I ordered a pizza because they have an entire menu dedicated to the pizza, so I thought it would be good but I was wrong. The pizza had a strange smell and the taste was peculiar. The drinks were also quite bland. I will be back here to try their coffee, if there coffee is good then I will definitely make this my morning coffee and chill spot.
We had high hopes for Library Cafe given its popularity, prime location and reputation, unfortunately we were left a little underwhelmed. We ordered a benchmark testing latte, flat white and chocolate brownie and were unimpressed by all three. The brownie was hard and dry and seemed to have been previously frozen, the flat white wasn’t full and had lots of milk foam floating on top with no crema. It seemed as though the barista ran out of milk and couldn’t be bothered to make more although perhaps they were just having a bad day. It’s a huge space but perhaps a little too big as it seems a little impersonal and feels like a canteen but it’s a nice peaceful space nonetheless. The library which gives the cafe its name was locked. Deserts, meals, beer and a kids menu all on offer. A bit of a shame but I think the potential to be a great coffee shop is being missed and mediocrity is be settled for.
My favorite café and restaurant in Kanchanaburi, provincial city area.
I just wanted the bakery and drink. but my child feels a little hungry, so we order fried rice and pork with roasted papaya salad before the desert. the taste of the main dish is very good as expact. they have a lot of beer and coffee list in the resonable price (coffee as bkk) ask
Beautiful place in kanchanaburi. they have a large selection of food, drinks and desserts. had rice and the berry diva, which was beautifully presented. the personal is also super nice. as the name says, they have a well-stocked library. but the day we went the place was quite crowded, so did not get the mood to allow for a quiet read
