Rockin Johnny's Diner - Kanata

I was very happy with the service from our waitress. The chicken burger I ordered was delicious, and my friend enjoyed her hamburger. We also shared a tasty oreo ice cream dessert. The prices were reasonable, and I liked the cute old school diner decor.

Breakfast is always amazing. I honestly don't know what rock people crawl from but these complaints I see don't make sense. Been here for lunch and dinner only a handful of times but the breakfast is where the money is : they are busy all weekend in the mornings for a good reason.

The servers at this restaurant consistently provide excellent service and the food is always delicious.

The frittata with potatoes at this restaurant is fabulous. I have visited a few times, always for breakfast. The food is decent, but the service can be slow and there is usually a wait for a table. There aren't many breakfast options in the area, so the restaurant is always busy despite the food only being okay.

I remember going to Rockin Johnny's and enjoying the themed base decor.... the juke box that you could actually put money in and select songs, the table top juke boxes, and decor. They used to have a chocolate malt that was a throw back to this era.... no longer available. It was disheartening. The food was mediocre .The one bright shining star was our server Caitlin. She was so cheerful and bubbly. Always smiling and a real joy. She is an asset to this restaurant. Had she not been our server then this whole experience would have been a bust.
