I wouldn't choose this place over my preferred pizza places, but if you're passing through town and just want to pick something up quickly that you can eat on the way, this is fine. Kids would enjoy it, but pickier adults may find it lacking. I didn't find it greasy, which was nice!I would definitely choose this over the Denny's also located at this same truck stop.
Probably the worst pizza I've ever had! Firstly the "fired inspired" catch phase they use is misleading and there's nothing fire inspired about it. The pizza is cooked in a conveyor oven not a forno oven which its catch phase suggests. The dough is a frozen pre-made dough that has no taste and is very dry. The pizza had very little and low quality toppings. Overall I do not recommend the pizza and probably won't eat it again myself. It felt cheap, bland and the advertising was misleading. I felt ripped off.
We tried Velocity Pizza and are so glad that we did. We now have a new favourite! The service over the phone was polite and helpful. He even suggested the special of the month which was a free small 2 topping pizza when we ordered 2 Larges. We had a Classic Pepperoni and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were delicious. The pizzas were delivered quickly and the driver was respectful. The kids said that it was the best pizza that they have ever had and they are teenagers so they know their pizza. Highly recommended.
I found the portion sizes to be generous, and the prices were affordable considering the quality of ingredients. However, overall, there was nothing particularly exceptional about this restaurant.
I must say that this is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The restaurant is run by two young kids who have no clue how to make a pizza. There was absolutely no pineapple or toppings on it, only cheese in a round shape when I specifically ordered otherwise. I will never eat here again and I do not recommend this place at all.
