Rayleigh Pub - Kamloops

We often stop in at the Rayleigh Pub/Restaurant for dinner when meal planning and clean up is not high on our list. Our server recommended the Crispy Thai Chicken Salad and it was fabulous!!!We live in Rayleigh so having this and the liquor store close by is very handy.

The Rayleigh pub is on the left side of highway 5 coming from Kamloops to Sun peaks. If you have time before getting to the ski hill or have time when coming down I would suggest you save some money before or after an expensive day on the ski hill. They had a beer special and the Rayleigh burger and beef dip was very good.

We stopped in later in the evening for a bite to eat on the road. The bartender was super nice and the food was fantastic. We have just ordered a burger and fries to go, but I was so amazing that we will definitely make a point to stop here every time we are passing through Kamloops!! One of the best burgers I've had, ever!

We were traveling from Tete Jaune Cache British Columbia to Vancouver, BC on Hwy 5 and found this nice surprise for lunch just north of Kamloops downtown. The business is split into three different sections. A Pub on the left, Liquor store on the right and small restaurant in the middle. We went inside to find a small but clean restaurant with several tables full. My husband ordered a chef's salad and I had a garden salad and soup. One was sausage and mushroom and the other was beef, vegetable and bean. Also lemonade that was very good. The salads were huge, fresh and packed with lots of items and was great. I wasn't sure about the sausage and mushroom but it was highly recommended by other customers so I decided to give it a try. I was glad I did! Both the soups were homemade and had very good flavor. The owner came by and sat near us and told us all about the history of the area. He was not rushed and a pleasure to talk to but was very observant of the other customers. Service was great and you won't go away hungry! I would recommend this to others for a friendly local place.

Bae and I stopped here out of necessity after a road trip from Kingston to his parents house.
