Montana's BBQ & Bar - Kamloops

Hoewel toch 18.00 uur was het hotel erg leeg. Voor ons niet de eerste keer dat we bij Montana's waren, maar nog nooit zo kort. Binnen een razend tempo werd ons eten geserveerd en de lege borden weer van tafel gehaald. Geen nagerecht, hup gelijk de rekening op tafel. Kwaliteit van het eten was wel goed, maar gezellig even eten was er niet bij. Binnen 45 min stonden we weer buiten.

We had supper there. The wife had the "All you can Eat " ribs.She said that they tasted like they had the previous day and reheated on the grill. Even though the server said they weren't . We didn't trust what she said. I had a 10 oz chimicire slice steak. The steak was dry from sitting under the warming lights. The sauce was almost pure oil with something gree in it.

We went to Montana's after a long drive. It was nice to be in a relaxing and casual setting. Our steaks were very good. Our server was pleasant and our meal arrived within a reasonable time. We will definitely return when we want a basic meal.

I ordered a lemonade and prawns and fries. The lemonade was so sickly sweet I had to ask a glass of water to tone it down. The water took 15 minutes to arrive. The fries and prawns were so salty that I couldn't eat them. The management took $5.00 off the bill but I still would not return to this restaurant.

We went with part of our baseball team and got pretty good service, considering our numbers. Food was decent, the 10 oz steak was more than we thought. Make sure you ask the server, the things they don't have. When we ordered, the server came back 3 times to say they were out or told us that was from last month. The drinks were ice cold :).
