Browns Socialhouse - Kamloops

We were hungry after a long day driving and we found this restaurant which was in close proximity to our hotel. I ordered a Spicy tuna roll and my Table mate ordered a Pad Thai dish. Both were alright. The server was not very attentive. The place was noisy. The prices were reasonable.

I have been to many Browns in and around BC but this one in Kamloops is excellent! When bringing my family we love to share appetizers (ham fries...poutine....nachos you name it) Great atmosphere if wanting to catch a sports game as well and the staff are always good for a small chat as well. Would recommend to my friends and extended family.

Visited Browns Socialhouse with family who are visiting from abroad. Love the calamari and nachos with chicken. At $21 they are not cheap but so tasty (best commercially available nachos I think I've had) and enough to take home for a full meal the next day! Others in the group had pad Thai and chicken bowls and liked them very much. Have been here a couple of times previously too and enjoyed it so much we brought the family. Would recommend.

We travel through Kamloops just about every month. We decided it was time to try something new for us. Browns Social House was just across from Superstore where we filled up our car. Looked like a nice outdoor deck area. We got a seat right away, in a nice window location outside on the deck. Fine views, yet with the glass, nicely insulated from the traffic. We each ordered one of their signature "bowls", asnd we were both really pleased with the quality of the food, the tastiness of the food, and the presentation. And all the staff seemed really quite happy to see us. Highly recommended.

We went there to celebrate a birthday and Mother's Day (early)all at once. We arrived at about 6:30 in the evening, and the restaurant was totally packed, and very, very, noisy. Obviously a very popular place with the younger set.Even though we had reservations, we had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated....It was so noisy inside, that we went back onto their patio to wait. Nice fire-pit to warm you up, but didn't quite get the job done in the rainy weather we were experiencing at the time!Once we were seated, and served, our meals were enjoyable enough, and, as time passed, and the crowd lessened, it did finally become possible to actually talk to the rest of our party.However, I don't think it will be on our list of favourites, simply because of the crowded situation, and the over-the-top noise!
