Alchemy Brewing Company - Kamloops

I have visited this restaurant a few times, but after my most recent experience, I am not eager to return. The service was excellent, with a fun and friendly server. However, the food was mediocre. They attempted to pass off deep fried pork belly as burnt ends, and while the sauce was flavorful, the pork was not well-cooked, with some pieces being dry and others chewy. The wings had decent flavor (beer mustard and vampire), but they were overcooked and dry. The standout dish was the Bronco Burger that my spouse had, which was genuinely delicious with great flavors and a perfect brioche bun. If you visit, I recommend trying the burger if it is still on the menu. Without it, the food rating would have been much lower. Overall, I am not in a hurry to return as the experience was just average.

The restaurant has a nice retro atmosphere with board games and pinball machines, giving it an old-school cool vibe. The service is friendly and the menu offers original and tasty smoked meats. However, I found the French fries to be a bit too small for my liking.

Food is sooo good, top quality and the reason I keep going back. Drinks are good. Vibe check passed. Staff are friendly, though service is lacking. Be prepared for longer waits and to flag staff down if ya need anything. A change here would be a 5* review from me.Worth checking out.

Ordered a Fun Guy pizza and it was delicious! Definitely recommend. Service was great and the DJ does musical trivia on Thursdays!
