Gateway Grille - KAMAS

I'm really disappointed tonight about my experience. we've been here before and had a great experience. So we decided to bring some friends and we had 6 adults and 1 baby. the waitress told us that we cannot all sit together because they can only sit together groups of 4. there were several tables that we could draw on our needs and she was not ready. we understand the COVID guidelines, but there were only 1 other couples in the restaurant. So we decided to go somewhere else in town. we were very disappointed because a group of 6 is quite normal, I thought?

The staff was nice, but eating was just ok, wouldn't go back.

The Side Salad was good, the Brisket' was baaaaad. The menu stated the brisket was smoked for 14-hours? Not a hint of any Smokey flavors but the outsides were burnt. After the 14 hours they age it in I'm guessing a fridge for an unknown amount of time and reheat' individual brisket slices on what tasted like a gas grill. I've never had a brisket that had chargrill lines and was tougher than beef jerky. Also the barbecue sauce tasted like it was straight from a Kraft bottle. I can't recommend this place, maybe their burgers are good? I don't know but the brisket needs to be fixed! Other than that nice wait staff and the place seemed to be operating correctly given the latest COVID mandates.

Looks like a great place to eat but they are always closed. This last time we drove from Salt Lake City to enjoy a fun snow trip and enjoy some delicious hot meals but low and behold they are again closed even after their page said they were open and I called ahead. Super disappointing. Hopefully they will update their hours to reflect differences.

I think I just had the best bacon cheeseburger of my life here. It was AMAZING. Very high quality meat for the burger and bacon the taste was out of this world. My parents were with me and had a brisket sandwich and a chicken/avocado sandwich and both loved it. I also appreciated the physical distancing and cleanliness inside the restaurant they're taking all the precautions they can for COVID and I felt safe there.
