We enjoyed a delightful lunch with friends from the area who have eaten here often. The ambience invites you to come and explore. Authentic Pfalz décor is coupled with an outdoor terrace with enormous umbrellas for pleasant shade. The menu offerings highlight regional fare prepared...and presented with care. Both our dishes of chicken and of chanterelles exploded with flavor. Excellent local wines pair well with the menu. Considering the quality, prices were reasonable. This is not a tourist hangout, so be forewarned you may experience some language issues which can be challenging, but fun. Also, Spindler does not accept international credit cards, so prepare yourself with Euros. These two points do not dissuade us from wanting to return.
