Finney's Crafthouse Porter Ranch

Sat on the patio for lunch on a beautiful day, and it was very pleasant despite the music being just a bit too loud. The service was excellent, and the plating was very appealing. The food was good to very good, and the alcoholic drinks were a a little light on the alcohol. Parking is easy because of the large parking lot. I would definitely come back if I was looking for patio dining on this end of the valley, and I will try the Westlake Village location. I'd really like to try some other things on the menu.Like a lot of restaurants have trended toward, you get less for the price here which inspires me to not buy a second drink. My wine was small but good. My husband got their Bourbon Mash which would have been delicious if it hadn't tasted so watered down. Maybe the other location is better.We shared a delicious Bavarian Pretzel and dips. My husband loved the pepperoni pizza, and I enjoyed the Prime Rib Cheesesteak which was better than many other restaurants but still somewhat lacking but much improved after I added the leftover mustard from the pretzel. The cheesesteak came with fries which I upgraded to truffle fries, and what appeared to be house made chips. The fries we absolutely disappointing in any context, and I only had a few but the chips were really very good even as leftovers.I'm a picky B about food and like rich, complex, or just strong flavors, so for most people the food here will be great, but it was a little bland for me. Texture is another issue for me, and this entire meal was spot on for texture. For this reason, I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

Service is so terrible, came with a few friends and we set outside. Literally every table was knowledge but ours. Never got a chance to order food, put our name on the list for a table or even place an order. It's not that busy and really just bad management on service and greeting guest.

I went to happy hour for some beer and food. The food and beer was good. I ordered the hamburger combo with fries and a pear beer. The service was just okay. Our waiter was not attentive and then he left without telling us. All of a sudden we looked up and we had another waiter. The old waiter never told us he was leaving to go home. The manager Stacy assisted with tables but she kept forgetting to bring the things you asked for. Everything took a long time to come out. The ambiance was cool. They have indoor /outdoor seating and plenty of parking in the lot. Overall, everything was good but the staff should have been more attentive and communicated with us better. Happy hour prices are reasonable and their regular menu has a variety of different types of food to choose from.

Bartender was amazing, he made the time at the bar fun with including him in our conversations. Good food and will definitely be back.

One of my favorite restaurants ever! The food is amazing! The staff is so friendly! The atmosphere feels like you’re at a friends house! Almost every weekend I’m back here with friends or family, that’s how much I love and enjoy this place!
