Yesterday, we shared the hummus and pita appetizer and some drinks. The hummus was pretty flavorless. The drinks were good. Campanile has Goose Island on tap; the Altitude Project Cabernet Sauvignon was good (9 oz. pour for $13.50). Our server (Martha) was nice; the place is busy, so patrons have to be patient.
Not many options at LAX, terminal 4. Food was ok, drinks were very expensive $19 for a margarita! Table was in need of fixing, it had electrical wires sticking out of it!
This is very convenient to have a drink before you depart on your flight. The bartender is very quick and attentative. This doesnt get too overly crowded that you cannot find a seat at the bar. The usual selection of food and drinks are offered. I normally go here on my trips out when I have a few extra minutes.
Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. Couldn’t rate the food because the service was so lousy I didn’t get that far. Don’t go here; you will be disappointed.
Campanile We had three hours between flights so really wanted a relaxing lunch so selected this restaurant as there were no others in the concourse we were in a that even offered a meal my husband could eat pizzas were out. We were so disappointed. We had to wait a long time after being seated for the waitress to come and she had a lot of trouble understanding our order. A long wait for the food and the hamburgers were not worth the price at all. Plastic utensils for a sit-down restaurant? And cery few smiles by the waitstaff.. if any. Hope we don’t get stuck on that concourse again!!
