Blue Canyon Kitchen Tavern Kalispell

Great service, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. The location is excellent as well. I've never encountered any issues with making reservations online or over the phone.

Everything was great, except the very small amount of food for the price! We split a scallop dinner (it cost $33). We usually split wherever we go, as we're not big eaters, and also we each have a salad and/or soup before dinner. We ALWAYS are satisfied with this amount of food in other restaurants in the Kalispell area. We did each have a salad before our dinner at your restaurant. We were surprised that one salad was not included with the dinner, for that price. The small amount of food we each received (2 scallops each) was not reflective of the price we paid. We thought $33 for 4 scallops, a very small amount of side items, and no salad was very overpriced. The dinner did not even come with rolls, although we were served some when we asked. We were both hungry when we left. The presentation was lovely, service very good, etc. Even though we said above we would recommend to others, we would tell them we felt Blue Canyon was high priced for the amount of food. This was our first time there, so we'll give it one more try to see how it goes, because the restaurant is physically very nice and the service good.

Dinner was enjoyable, with our group ordering fish and chips, salmon, and strip steak. Everyone was pleased with their meals, and the Moscow Mule cocktails were also excellent. For dessert, we had Sweet Peaks ice cream, which is always a delightful treat!

Blue Canyon offers an outstanding menu featuring both classic dishes and unique specials, all of which are expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Although we didn't indulge in wine this time, Blue Canyon boasts an excellent wine list. I personally enjoyed a fantastic special cocktail, while my companion had a margarita that they liked very much. Our server was friendly, but it appeared she had difficulty locating our reservation and forgot to bring out an appetizer we had ordered. Despite that, the overall service was excellent, and we found the atmosphere to be perfect for a quiet birthday dinner. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Pleasant enough though inconsistent across two occasions. Food and service ranged from very good once to awful another time
