It was where I had my first job as a dishwasher, and I cherish the wonderful memories of the people who worked there and the community I love. Ken Hilliard was a regular at the restaurant, along with Metzger Gott. I remember how they would purchase a cow for the outdoor freezer and provide various cuts of meat for the entire year. I believe that old-fashioned butcher shops like this should make a comeback, as they could save a lot of money in today's economy. The restaurant holds a special place in my heart, and I still remember the joy it brought into my life. I even learned how to cook a pancake there, with the cook teaching me to wait until it bubbles before flipping it over. I miss the Hilliard farm dearly and all the memories associated with it.
I always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The fish is delicious, the atmosphere is always clean, and the waitress is incredibly friendly.
The dining experience at this restaurant is always excellent, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Really good little small town eatery! The people and the food were both great. Good patrons and staff. A very warm and friendly environment. I got the mushroom omelet and it was huge and really good! If you are passing thru this little town, stop in for a bite!
