Plaka Restaurant - Kaleen

Unfortunately the impressive looking menu didn't reflect the standard of service or food. Waiting time for initial service (offer of drinks) 30 minutes. Meal orders, another 15 minutes after that. Meal arrivals another hour, with some of order forgotten. During the visit we were ignored by waiters and left to follow up/collect our order of drinks from the bar. Food itself was decent in size but average in taste. Would not recommend. Definitely not your expected Greek level of hospitality. Management not visible.

My party and I dined here recently. There is a wide variety of options on the menu. Despite being a big eater, I was unable to finish my meal due to the generous portion sizes. Overall, we all enjoyed the delicious food and appreciated the attentive service.

Service was ok (but a smile wouldn't go astray) and meals served in a timely manner. It was not crowded, but then again, neither were any of the other restaurants, in fact Dickson sort of resembled a ghost town on a Friday night! It wasn't like the great food we had in Greece and Turkey when we visited. Oysters Kilpatrick were borderline ok (bacon was hard/overcooked), everyone seemed to quite like their main meals, I had the veal which was nice. Far too many vegetables, and all of the meals were very expensive. I would be hesitant to return.

Prices are too high for the quality of meal, nothing special, but the serving size is decent at least. Staff are friendly but the service is slow. A Greek restaurant with meals that do not reflect authentic Greek dishes. It was okay but nothing to get excited about
