I Really like Elevated Grounds. It's not expensive. The drinks and food are always good and there is a big enough choice of everything that you would not walk away disappointed. It's very comfortable with a few interesting little shops within walking distance so that you could make a little "outing" of going there. The staff are always courteous and friendly and for those with "little ones" there is a good play corner for them. I live in Kalamunda and visit often but it is well worth a drive to get there. Pearl
We went there for lunch and I ordered some protein items.$15, which I thought was a bit steep but hoped it was going to be a decent meal.Sadly, it disappointed as it was very stingy. 2 eggs, 6 mushrooms, 2 rashes of bacon and 1 sausage cut lengthways. (The sausage made us cringe. It was obviously cut that way to make it look bigger on the massive, oversized plate!)Maybe be a bit more generous or if this is how they normal present meagre meals, perhaps display the meal on a smaller plate because it looked very lonely and did not present value for money. The staff were friendly. At least that was good. I have always found their cakes excellent. Can definitely recommend their Gluten Free Banana and walnut bread.
Elevated Coffee Grounds has been our go to spot for a long time, but I have to admit this mornings breakie was really disappointing. The portions sizes have been reduced, and the wait time was between 25-30minutes. It is really a lovely cafe, I love this place, but as I said today it was a bit of a let down.
I nipped in here as I was desperate for a late lunch. Luckily I wasn't disappointed. Ended up having a sausage roll and small cake. I have to say it's one of the best home made sausage rolls I've had, the mince had some vegetables through it, which added body and taste, the pastry was light and tasty. To their credit they heated it in an oven rather than just throwing it in a microwave. This of course meant there was a delay (something to be aware of if you go here), but meant it maintained its texture and taste. Service was also friendly and efficient.
