Ksimeroma Kourkoutas - Kalamata

Oh, you have to eat here at sunset! It is the quintessential Greek tavern with an amazingly beautiful sea view. We had a nice dinner. I don't like fish so this delicious puff was filled with delicious stuff. My husband was taken to the kitchen to get his freshly caught fish from the refrigerator. They're all on ice. He said it was perfect. They sit at tables under very old olive trees, overlooking the bay. We were entertained by kittens playing near the tables. I'm so glad we found this place!

Nice view of the sunset-4 Quality of food was ok, however, overestimated due to advs. Not sure why-2 Service not good. Waiters were not looking after the tables most probably because they were tired or at the end of their shift-1

Poor service! Decent fish and nice setting. Unfortunately the restaurant is very understaffed which is unacceptable for this kind of prices and restaurant. Very difficult to get attention of waiters and many of the guests including us had their evening ruined by having to do part of the job of the staff.

A beautiful restaurant with magnificent views of the coast and the sunset of Kalamata. Tables are placed under trees and everything makes a very atmospheric place. The food we took was very tasty and well cooked. Steak, Beaf and Salad all were excellent choices. A place to visit this summer!

Beautiful property with a magnificent view of the sea with tables under the olive trees. Perfect for romantic dinner or family excursions. Family owned and operated high-end taverna. Delicious and freshly prepared Greek dishes with a wide selection of fresh fish directly from the sea.
