Elli' S Tavern - Kalamata

Ate at Elli's 3 times in our week stay. Elli and her staff worked really hard to fit us in on two extremely busy nights. Really nice rustic Greek traditional food. It was obvious Elli lives and breathes her taverna and genuinely cares about her customers and staff. Thank you!

Noticeably overpriced! We got charged 4 euros for 4 slices of bread, which we didn't even order. We managed to order 40 minutes after we were seated. We had to ask for the receipt (which was only issued when we asked for it). We weren't treated with anything. The people were polite. The food was tasty. The environment was nice.

This is by far and away the best restaurant in Agios Nikolaos without any doubt. The food is simply wonderful and the atmosphere is magical. Try it. You will not be disappointed I promise.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Greece. The setting is wonderful with the tables under the trees at the marina in this small fishing town. All the dishes were prepared well and extremely good Elli’s salad was especially good, meatballs, pasticio. The service was friendly and efficient. A wonderful meal.

Amazing. Difficult to describe just how special this place is. Interesting twists on Greek classic in a fantastic harbor side setting. The Elli's Salad is amazing. The whole experience was perfect. Great value!
