Kalapawai Cafe Deli - Kailua

Avoid this place! We ordered a club sandwich to dine in. After 45 minutes I found a to go bag with my name on it with a cheeseburger. Management was not helpful I had to wait another 10 minutes to get a refund. Terrible service.

Service Egeria was delightful and attentive. She recommended her favorite dishes and checked in on us regularly. Food We ordered the Elote Corn Dip, Pork Chop with jalapeño cornbread, and the Auction fish (grilled Ahi) with lemon risotto. The cornbread was cold which was disappointing and the risotto was okay. Our main entree meats were outstanding. Might be the best Ahi we’ve had. Atmosphere Comfortable and causal indoor and dining. We appreciated their selection of non-alcoholic beers.

This is what $94 dollars of your hard earned money will get you. It’s time to start standing up to these greedy business owners. Portions half the size a price twice as much. Let me guess… Covid made you greedy. When will the people unite?? Stop this gouging nonsense.
