Genki Sushi - Kailua-Kona

Standing prices, easy to order, cool conveyor belt system for sushi, fast service and surprisingly large menu that will have something for everyone. Sushi is decent quality not TOP level, but great value for the price. Can only order 4 items at a time that initially seems annoying, but actually works perfectly. Order how you eat and you do not have to order.

Amazing service, my family and I went around 230 and sat right away. Some of the foods lasted longer than Hilo, but this cona is larger than the Hilo side. The hot dog we unfortunately did not have a photo of was cold or very little warm, but tasted super. After we finished, we got dessert, the ice was delicious! definitely get something when she sold out arent. Our meal for three (including the tip) was about $81.

We came here as a first stop after landing in Hawaii. We ordered a few sushi rolls and they were good! Portions were smaller, but the price was good, and the experience was unique. The food came out on a conveyer, which was cool. Down side was we sat there for an extended time after we were done waiting for somebody to give us a bill. After about 15 minutes, we went to the register and they sent us back to the table, where we waited another 5 minutes or so to be billed. They weren't very busy, so I thought it was a bit excessive of a wait, but all in all, good experience and I would return again.

Long wait for nothing special. Service is pretty sub-par. One of the guys decided to break out the bucket and mop to start mopping while I was eating. Also, we had a party of 4 seated after we had already ordered, yet they got all of their plates (I counted 14 of theirs) before we received ours. We only got 6 out 12 of out orders. The party of 4 ate and left before we got our last order. Pretty inconsistent service.

An interesting concept, it is nice that you can only order from one screen and have delivered it with a small train to your table. Beverages are very expensive compared to other restaurants and the dessert prices are somewhat high for what you get. All in all, food is good, but small portions. I would be a great place to take kids to keep them entertained while your food arrives
