808 Grindz Cafe - Kailua-Kona

We arrived at 7:05 PM and were seated promptly, with menus provided. After we placed our order, we were informed that the restaurant was closing for the day. It's quite strange for a restaurant to take in customers and then stop accepting orders.

This restaurant has a strong local presence and offers great value. During my visit, they had tables set up outside and took orders right from the entrance, which worked well.

808 Grindz is an absolute must-visit in Kona! The service was incredibly friendly, and the food arrived quickly, hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! It was truly the best loco moco we've ever had—nothing else even comes close! Our only regret is that we only made it there once during our trip, but next time we're in town, 808 Grindz will be our first stop!

Very friendly staff and service. the food was average, small pieces meat with the orders. no inside seats.

Yo command to avoid waiting for long lines. great eating, but they only have small numbers of tables outside to find space, no internal kitchen. faster and friendly service.
