On the plus side, they have Miyokos vegan cheese, which I can never find. On the minus side, it’s $13.
I love Island Naturals so much. I’m always surprised by how many not very well known vegan and gluten free brands/items they carry. Obviously it’s not the same as going to a larger chain, but for Kona this store is a life saver. Also, their vegan chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is one of the best vegan cakes I’ve ever had. What a great find. As soon as I stepped off my plane, I was hungry and searching for a health food store. I spotted this one and was able to get some delicious grinds from their hot bar. A hot bar with a fair amount of vegan food is hard to come by in my home town, so I was in love. My favorite thing: the purple sweet potato pastries . The only reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars is because they close very early-7 to 8pm every day, and they definitely jack the prices on certain things. If you’re looking for gardein products, I recommend checking out target or Walmart first.
Their breakfast hot bar is amazing. I had some of the best tofu scramble ever, with sausage and potatoes and veggies?? I was not expecting such a selection and it was all so delicious.
