Foster's Kitchen Kailua Kona

We made a reservation here after arriving from the mainland and we were so happy to have this as our first meal after a long day of travel and it is midnight at home before dinner! The service was great and they had great recommendations. The Cowboy-Colada and Hibiscus heats (image Leelee-Limonade) were fabulous recommendations. Apps crabcake and gum were also pretty good. For the net we had pasta, I had the Cajun shrimp, fantastic and my husband the steakhouse. Would come back!

Beautiful vibes on a second floor and good sea views. The seafood trio had a good combination of grilled fresh fish, crab cakes and black shrimps that all tasted well, but the shrimps and crab cakes were quite salty, so better to get some more pages with them. The appetizer, seafood Pesto Puff pastries, was quite special and worth trying. It had a small amount of crabs and shrimp fillings. Overall the food tasted good, but type of salty and pricy.

First restaurant experience on Big Island and it has not disappointed! We shared the Macadamia nuts Pesto pastry starters and had to share the filled chickens/cajun fish tacos and the banana foster. We loved everything and our server was friendly and knowledgeable.

Fosters is our favorite restaurant! We eat here at any time when we visit my law lawyers in Kona. Your food is excellent (try the seafood puff bakery appetizer), service is great, and the view is amazing. We have to try everything we didn't like here.

Stopped by before we checked in to our hotel. We had small bite dishes ribs and fish delicious. The Foster's banana pudding was so good. The view from thus upstairs restaurant is so gorgeous.
