Kaikoura Bakery

I am currently traveling around the South Island in search of the best pies. I ordered a sausage roll, which had a generous filling to pastry ratio as shown in the photo. The pastry was flaky and crispy, just as I expected. The food was warm when I purchased it. I also tried the mushroom steak pie, which had a delicious flavor of mushroom gravy. However, I thought the mushroom filling could have been chunkier. The serving of steak was great.

I had a great experience at this restaurant in Kaikoura. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Bacon and Egg Pie and the Big Beef.

Buns are delicious and a good place to stop for afternoon tea if I am on another road trip through here I will make sure to stop through here

This store's bakery are delicious! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommended!

Open from 4 a.m to 4pm! Great place to stop for a break and food. The mountains are glorious covered in snow today.
