Geste Shrimp Truck - Kahului

Amazing eating on the geste shrimp truck. the hot spicy taste was incredible, the sauce was amazing with the rice crab mac salad tasted good on the side. Hawaiian taste was a mix of butter and garlic, also very good, but the woman and I liked the hot spicy just a little more.

I think this is the best garlic shrimp. Even beats Giovannis in my opinion. The shrimp had great flavor and crispiness to it. It was also very fresh! We called and ordered ahead, it’s about $15 for I think 8 or 10 shrimps over rice and Mac salad. Come here when you first land in Maui, you won’t be disappointed!!

Damn, not only is the shrimp bomb but even the macaroni salad is good.

Wow!! Geste was excellente! We stopped in to the little food truck village to grab lunch after landing in Maui. The prices were a bit high but the tastes did not disappoint. I had the pineapple shrimp and I’d say it was one of the best shrimp meals I’ve had! Great quality of food from a food truck, so much so we went back before leaving!

Fantastic first meal on Maui. I ordered the shrimp scampi plate on the server/cashier’s suggestion and was not disappointed. There was no lack of shrimp on the plate and the rice and mac salad were plentiful as well. For garlic-lovers like me, this plate packed such a garlicky punch! This is a meal that I would eat over and over again.
