Old Dixie Cafe - Jupiter

Was truly an experience dining at now an historic family restaurant gem. Food was as promised????

Food was great but coffee was horrible. Not true columbian coffee.

Unfortunately, pretty much everything we ordered was not seasoned or done.The biscuits in the biscuits gravy were not fresh there was not a lot of flavor in the gravy.My hasbrowns were not crispy in the least bit, I was served buttered bread (not toast) but the eggs were cooked over easy as requested.The French toast was lucky, the cook on it was not my perference, however the pancakes were good. They were not too fluffy had a nice texture.The best thing we ordered was the Huevos Ranchero. It had great flavor but they put scrambled eggs on it so you didn't get the yolk that you typically get.Due to the fact I was served bread with butter with absolutely no toast to it I decided to write this review. I don't want anyone to have the same experience I did without at least a heads up.

Had a great experience! Biscuits and gravy where good. Added there homemade hot sauce and it was awesome. The waitress was a riot. If your looking for fast service and a good laugh you found your place.

Old Dixie Cafe is a somewhat hidden gem in Jupiter where locals enjoy breakfast and lunch. I was happy to find some vegetarian options and my favorite is the vegetarian breakfast burrito with hash browns. Make sure to ask for their home made hot sauce! They have a mild sauce too. Coffee is delicious!
