Concept Cafe - Juneau

This is one of the best places to get breakfast/brunch/lunch in Juneau. My personal go-to is the Eggs Benedict. The eggs are poached perfectly, the hollandaise sauce is light, and the side of breakfast potatoes are full of flavor and crispy. Their baristas know what they 're doing on the coffee bar.

Juneau Alaska does not provide a lot of breakfast options——downtown there are two options… and both are great—albeit different from one another. I love The Rookery, located at 111 Seward Street, right up from Juneau Drug. This breakfast space, open 7-2’ish…is co-owned by two amazing Chef’s; Beau and Travis…(who also own In Bocca Al Lupo)…and are, in large part, responsible for putting the Juneau food scene on the map. The Rookery has food fare, from simple to elegant..all at a fair and reasonable price. They offer beer, wine, mimosas and an espresso bar for coffee beverages. The vibe is chill and local…and the staff is great. Say Aloha to the fantabulous Nichole…you will immediately know her from her effervescent smile and contagious energy. Awesome pastries, great breakfasts…but my favorite ‘go-to’, is the Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito…and I am NOT a vegetarian! You only need one great breakfast option; and The Rookery is it!

Oh my gosh! What an amazing discovery! I've been in Juneau for four days, and this is probably one of my favorite places to eat so far. The food is unique, and the service is friendly and fast, with a relaxed coffee shop atmosphere. I ordered the avocado toast topped with a poached egg, and it was excellent! The flavors blended perfectly. The drip coffee was also among the best I've had during my visit. Just so you know, I usually stick to ordering drip coffee. I think it's a great way to assess coffee shops and roasters—if they use quality beans and know their craft, their drip coffee should be good too.

The best coffee and breakfast in town! The coffee beans are roasted fresh, and the staff is committed to crafting beautiful latte art. The temperature of the lattes is just right. The breakfast menu offers a diverse selection, and the bakery items are outstanding as well. We couldn't resist coming back every morning after trying it just once!

This is the best coffee shop in Juneau! I had a latte and a chocolate cinnamon croissant, and both were the best I've tasted in town. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing and cozy. They also have a complete menu featuring breakfast and lunch, along with to-go options. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is perfect, situated downtown near many cool local shops.
